# Environments

Deko provides separate environments for you to use in Pre-Prod and production. It is highly recommended that you conduct all development and testing using the staging environment details, reserving the production environment details for your customers.

Our Pre-Prod environment differs slightly in that you would not be able to receive email communications when carrying out your testing using our mock data.
